I went today with Mindo, Mary Ellen and her boss VJ to the slums in Bandra East. Mary is working for a NGO related to children. We visited some preschools or kindergarten. The point is to convince the parents to see their children as future investment rather than an earner of the family. The children should go to school and learn, as education is the key for improvement. Most the times the kids will leave school when they are old enough to work. It was a great experiment to join Melon and distribute some toys for the kids.
